Mold Remediation Contractor

Service Description

Purpose: Mold Remediation Contractor course is a 3 day course that is requried for contractors who perform mold remediation work. New York State regulations require contractors who operate a company that performs mold remediation services or write/approve mold remediation work plans to have a mold remediation contractor license from an accredited training program. Upon successful completion of the course, student will have to submit application to New York State Department of Labor Licensing unit to obtain a license. Course Content: Introduction to health effects Workplace hazards - PPE, Respirators, Asbestos, Confined Spaces, etc. Overview of regulations Work Practices, documentation and forms Clearance testing and procedures Basics of HVAC systems, inspection and assessment of HVAC Mold remediation plans Enginering controls

Cancellation Policy

EAST Centers of NY, LLC requires full payment upon registration for a class.  We accept all major credit cards.  Personal Checks and Purchase Orders are also accepted, but training certificates will be held until payment has been verified.  A 10% discount is offered for a company that registers five or more students from their company for the same class on the same day. EAST Centers of NY, LLC reserves the right to cancel programs due to low registration in advance of course start date.  Refunds will only be issued if the student cancels at least five (5) days prior to the course start date. If the course is postponed, we will either apply the payment to the next course or provide a full refund. If a student does not cancel their registration within the five day time period, or begins class and is unable to complete the class, the student is ineligible for a refund and is responsible for full tuition.
