Service Description
Any person who, within a work area, removes, encapsulates or disturbs friable asbestos, or who handles asbestos material in any manner which may result in the release of asbestos fiber, shall possess a valid asbestos handler certificate and shall have such certificate or a copy thereof in his/her possession at all times while working on the project. This 4-day course is designed to provide each student hands-on opportunities to perform all aspects of asbestos work properly by using engineering controls, decontamination procedures and work practices. EAST Centers of NY, LLC requires full payment upon registration for a class. Â We accept all major credit cards. Â Personal Checks and Purchase Orders are also accepted, but training certificates will be held until payment has been verified. Â A 10% discount is offered for a company that registers five or more students from their company for the same class on the same day. EAST Centers of NY, LLC reserves the right to cancel programs due to low registration in advance of course start date. Â Refunds will only be issued if the student cancels at least five (5) days prior to the course start date. If the course is postponed, we will either apply the payment to the next course or provide a full refund. If a student does not cancel their registration within the five day time period, or begins class and is unable to complete the class, the student is ineligible for a refund and is responsible for full tuition.Â
