Mold Assessor

Service Description

Purpose: Mold Assessor is a 4 day course required for professionals who will perform mold assessement and will design and write remediation plans for mold abatement. New York State regulations require any individual performing mold assessment to attend an accredited mold assessor training program. Upon successful completion of the course, student will have to submit an application to New York State Department of Labor Licensing unit to obtain a license. Course Content: Introduciton to health effects Workplace hazards - PPE, Respirators, Asbestos, Confined spaces, etc. Overiew of Regulations Visual inspections Measurement equipment Biological sampling strategies Work practices, documention and forms Clearance testing and procedures Basics of HVAC systems Interpreting sampling results / survey protocol Writing mold remediation plans Post remediation clearance testing

Cancellation Policy

EAST Centers of NY, LLC requires full payment upon registration for a class.  We accept all major credit cards.  Personal Checks and Purchase Orders are also accepted, but training certificates will be held until payment has been verified.  A 10% discount is offered for a company that registers five or more students from their company for the same class on the same day. EAST Centers of NY, LLC reserves the right to cancel programs due to low registration in advance of course start date.  Refunds will only be issued if the student cancels at least five (5) days prior to the course start date. If the course is postponed, we will either apply the payment to the next course or provide a full refund. If a student does not cancel their registration within the five day time period, or begins class and is unable to complete the class, the student is ineligible for a refund and is responsible for full tuition.
